Hard wired internet is becoming more common throughout the home, especially when WiFi signals can't reach everywhere around the house. CAT6 is installed as standard in our modern, high quality installations with at least 2
RJ45 outlets in each room and 1 behind each TV for smart televisions. Generally, we install a 24 port mini switch adjacent to the modem with CAT6 cabling run from here to each wall outlet, enabling you to simply plug your PC
or laptop into the wall sockets to achieve constant internet without any 'dropping out' which often occurs with WiFi.
We are often asked to install wall mounted TVs with all wires hidden, leaving nothing but a screen on a blank wall without the loss of use of any DVD/BluRay player, Sky/Virgin Media boxes or games consoles etc. Whether you
want all your equipment installed in a low wall mounted cabinet a couple of metres below your TV with hidden HDMI cables buried in walls or every box wired directly back to a dedicated plant room or cupboard remote from any
